Ghanaian actor, Prince David Osei has expressed his aspirations to become the President of Ghana, ascribing his goal to a divine calling.

In an interview on GHOne TV with Serwaa Amihere, Osei discussed his decision to openly support his preferred political party.

When asked about his bold approach, Osei replied, “If you are doing politics, obviously you need to interact with the people, you need to speak to the people, you need to get to the people. So, when you say those who do politics secretly, then whoever is doing that is a coward or the person is not proud of what they are saying.”

Mr. Osei attributed his assertive nature to his personality, saying, “The kind of personality I possess, I’m very assertive. I’m always gentle in spirit, but if I have to do something, I put in my all.”

He also expressed his long-term goal, stating, “You know, the long-term goal is to serve. Whatever I’m doing now is not for today. As the president of Ghana one day, it’s not about what I want to be. I’ve been ordained to be by God.”

Mr. Osei emphasized a step-by-step approach to achieving his goal, saying, “it’s one step at a time. Initially, I used to speak, I used to write stuff and post on my page. But as you know, quite recently, I was invited to speak at the manifesto. So it’s a graduation from one step to the other. “
