Nana Ama McBrown a well-known Ghanaian actress, has shared her story of struggling to come to terms with a severe accident that badly damaged her right arm.
In an interview on Starr Chat with Bola Ray on Starr Chat, she confessed that she has gone through four surgeries to get back the use of her arm.
The accident, which occurred on January 30, 2013, on the George Walker Bush Highway near Lapaz, left the actress with severe injuries to her right arm. She has since undergone three surgeries in Ghana and one in Germany to repair the damage.
“I have endured a lot of pain. I have had surgery on my right arm four times. I can stretch it, but over time, the pain returns. I will be undergoing another surgery soon, and I hope it will be my last,” Nana Ama explained.
“I have metal and screws in my right arm, so any slight movement can cause them to shift, break, or come out, requiring me to fix it again.”
Nana Ama has shown gratitude for surviving the incident and reflected on the chance of life. “When I see the scar, it reminds me of how unpredictable life is. If a situation doesn’t kill you, just heal and move on,” she voiced.
