McBrown stated that she desires growth and new challenges. “If I’m not feeling good, I would want to move on…peacefully, because I know where my vision is.”
She clarified that her move to Media General wasn’t solely driven by a better offer. “It’s not about the money or a better offer. It’s about seeking new opportunities and aligning with my vision.” McBrown stated on Starr Chat with Bola Ray.
McBrown stressed her commitment to continuous growth. “If I get tired or feel stagnant, I will move on. It’s like that with every human.”
McBrown’s honest approach offers valuable insights into her career journey and decision-making process.
McBrown emphasized that her departure was not due to fatigue or dissatisfaction with the show or its team. “I’m not tired of hosting… It’s not the environment, and it’s not the people. It’s me.”
She explained that she had accomplished what she set out to do and was ready for new challenges. “I have done this… My ear drew me to something new.”
McBrown also addressed speculation about her relationship with Fadda Dickson, the show’s producer. “We are very good friends… I still speak to Fadda. We are not fighting.”
Regarding the sudden announcement of her departure, McBrown acknowledged that the timing may have been perceived as abrupt. “My last presentation was on 25th December… I told Fadda before then.”
