Mr. Awudu Mahama, a media personality, says former President John Mahama is the National Democratic Congress’s (NDC) biggest problem.
“The biggest problem for NDC is John Mahama in this election,” Awudu Mahama stated on Gh today with Serwaa Amihere.
He cited Mahama’s previous tenure, highlighting his poor performance and unfulfilled promises. “He made certain promises to Ghanaians, had social contracts with Ghanaians as president, but performed so poorly that Ghanaians rejected him in 2016 and again in 2020.” Mr. Awudu stated.
Awudu Mahama questioned Mahama’s ability to keep future promises, given his record. “You are saying that such a person can keep his social contract with Ghanaians again?”
In contrast, he pointed to the NPP’s flagbearer Dr.Mahamadu Bawumia, who has not been president before, offering a fresh start.
“Somebody who is leading the NPP, who has not been president before, who is now going to be president for Ghanaians to see what he can also do” Mr. Awudu added.
