Berekum Chelsea and Asante Kotoko played out a 1-1 draw at Golden City Park on Sunday afternoon.

Kotoko took the lead just three minutes into the game through Kyei Dwamena. The midfielder skillfully connected with a cut-back pass from Dauda Saaka, bringing the Porcupine Warriors in front.

Berekum Chelsea however scored their equalizer in the 60th minute through captain Fuseini Zakaria’s which leveled the score.

The result means Kotoko has now recorded back-to-back draws and is without a win since their opening-day triumph over Karela United.

Meanwhile, Nations FC and Hearts of Oak both failed to score in a goalless draw at Abrankese’s Dr Kwame Kyei Stadium, despite their best efforts.

Both teams tested goalkeepers, with four shots on target and four crucial saves, but neither could break the deadlock, leaving them to share the points.

Nations FC next will face Dreams FC, while Hearts of Oak prepares for a challenging match against Aduana Stars.
