Deputy Minority Leader, Emmanuel Armah Kofi Buah has accused the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) of failing to fulfill its promises to the people of the Western Region.
He argued that not even a single of the numerous promises of infrastructure has been delivered in the last eight years reign of the President Akufo-Addo led administration.
Addressing the Western Regional House of Chief on Sekondi as part of campaign tour of former President John Dramani Mahama, the Ellembele legislator criticized the government of neglecting the people of the region needs for infrastructure development, job creation and the improvement of key sectors such as healthcare and education in the region.
“Promises made by NPP government for the past Eight years to Western region to build brand new regional hospital, rehabilitation of Efia Nkwata hospital, new refinery and among others. Non of these promises has seen light”, the law maker stated.
Mr. Armah Buah further stated that most developmental projects started under the erstwhile Mahama administration have stalled, indicating that, available evidence proves the NDC has done more for the region than the NPP.
“We started Half Assini road under oil enclave policy with artifacts and all district roads and town roads in the Western region but they are all still at the stages we left office”, Mr. Kofi Buah alleged.
