A vehicle belonging to the New Patriotic Party (NPP) monitoring team was vandalized at the Nyankpala DA Polling Center in the Tolon District during the ongoing elections, leading to reports of tension in the area.
According to eyewitnesses, the vehicle’s side mirror and windscreen were damaged by individuals alleged to be youth members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC). The incident occurred near the polling center but did not disrupt voting activities.
Local authorities and security personnel have been informed of the incident and are monitoring the situation to maintain order. Investigations are underway to identify the individuals involved.
