The Independent Power Generators Ghana (IPGG) have congratulated John Abdulai Jinapor on his nomination and successful vetting as Minister for Energy and Green Transition.
In a statement signed by the Chief Executive Officer of IPGG, Dr. Elikplim Kwabla Apetorgbor, the Power Generators, expressed confidence in Mr. Jinapor’s leadership, noting that it would bring renewed focus and drive toward addressing the challenges confronting the energy sector.
“The role of the Minister for Energy is crucial, especially at a time when the nation is working to enhance distribution efficiency and reduce energy sector debts. We believe John Jinapor’s pragmatic approach and expertise will contribute significantly to creating a resilient and reliable energy ecosystem for Ghana,” it stated.
The IPGG reaffirmed their commitment to supporting the government’s efforts to ensure stable and affordable electricity for Ghanaians.
