Morocco will host the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier between Ghana and Madagascar.
The game which was Originally set for March 24, 2025, in Antananarivo, has been rescheduled to Al Hoceima, Morocco, as Madagascar’s national stadium remains unapproved.
The Matchday 6 clash will kick off at the Grand Stade d’Al Hoceima. Ghana, sitting second in Group I, will take on Madagascar after hosting Chad at the Accra Sports Stadium.
With nine points from four matches, the Black Stars are level with Comoros, having secured three wins and one defeat.
Ghana kicked off their qualifying campaign with a 1-0 victory over Madagascar but later suffered a defeat to Comoros. However, regained momentum in June last year with back-to-back wins against Mali and the Central African Republic.
Ghana is set to host Chad at the Accra Sports Stadium on March 21, 2025, in a crucial World Cup qualifying match.
Meanwhile, Head coach Otto Addo is anticipated to announce his squad in the coming days, with the team aiming to secure a vital victory to bolster their qualification prospects.
