Seven-year-old Amina Abdul Fatawu is battling severe burns after her guardian, identified only as Aisha, allegedly pressed a heated spoon against her private parts, upper thighs, and buttocks as punishment for bedwetting.
A concerned community leader reportedly lodged a complaint at the Kotobabi Police Station, leading to the arrest of the alleged perpetrator. However, Aisha was later released following pressure from Amina’s father and grandmother, who insisted the matter be settled at home.
