The Ghana Plastics Manufacturers Association has called off their intended demonstration which was scheduled for July 10 2024.
This is after their engagement with the Deputy Minister for Trade and Industry, Michael Okyere Baafi who assured the group that, he will facilitate further engagements with government to stop the implementation of the 5% excise tax.
Satisfied with this response, the association has also decided to put on hold their intended plan to shut down production.
