“Vote for My Husband; He Will Be a Great President” – Alan’s Wife Appeals to Ghanaians

Mrs. Patricia Christabel Kyerematen, wife of Movement for Change flagbearer Alan Kyerematen, has made a heartfelt appeal to Ghanaians, urging them to vote for her husband in the upcoming election. “Alan has a true vision for this country,” she passionately declared. “I believe with all my heart he will be a great president – one who genuinely cares about the people and is ready to bring real, lasting change.” Her words came as she led the final day of the movement’s 8-day caravan tour through Accra, which drew an overwhelming crowd on November 2, 2024, for a historic walk through the capital.

Throughout the tour, Mrs. Kyerematen and senior members of the Afrafranto Alliance, including the Director of Special Duties, Hopson Adorye, engaged with chiefs and residents across Osu Korle Klottey, Ayawaso East, and Odododiodio, paying courtesy calls on community leaders and connecting with residents. “It’s important we hear from everyone, especially our traditional authorities and everyday Ghanaians who make this country what it is,” she explained. “This is what Alan stands for: governance that begins with listening.”

On November 2, Alan Kyerematen addressed the crowd with a strong message of economic hope, pledging to tackle unemployment and stabilize the cedi. “Today, the exchange rate is 17 cedis to the dollar. That is unacceptable,” he said, pledging to bring it below 5 cedis. Mrs. Kyerematen echoed his message, adding, “Alan has a clear, actionable plan to restore stability and achieve growth. This isn’t just political talk; he’s fully prepared to fix the economy, create jobs, and relieve the burden on families.”

Beyond the economy, Alan outlined a new approach to tackling illegal mining, or Galamsey. Alongside tough measures to address the menace, he proposed a responsible mining model that empowers youth to own small-scale mining ventures rather than be exploited by politicians. “Alan doesn’t want our youth enslaved to any politician’s agenda; he wants them to see a future in responsible mining,” Mrs. Kyerematen emphasized, drawing enthusiastic cheers.

Corruption was also central to Alan’s Great Transformational Plan. As he detailed his vision for an independent anti-corruption Czar with prosecutorial powers, Mrs. Kyerematen highlighted the boldness of this initiative. “Alan knows we cannot progress without tackling corruption. He’s not afraid to take on those who abuse power to enrich themselves, and he will restore integrity to public office.”

The November 2 Walk became a powerful display of support, with streets filled by supporters eager for change. “What I’ve seen on this tour is inspiring. The outpouring of love and hope for Alan has been incredible,” Mrs. Kyerematen said, as crowds in the movement’s colors walked alongside Alan, chanting for a new era in Ghana’s leadership.

“The people want change, and they see it in Alan.” Throughout the tour, youth and community leaders voiced their belief in the movement’s potential, making it clear that they are tired of the NDC-NPP political gimmicks that have left the country struggling.

As the tour progresses, the Movement for Change stands firm on its promise to prioritize Ghanaians’ needs. With Alan Kyerematen at the helm, Mrs. Kyerematen expressed confidence in his ability to lead, saying, “Alan is ready to serve with integrity and vision. Vote for my husband, and let’s build a brighter future together.”
