Ibrahim Sannie Daara, a former Ghana Football Association spokesperson, has expressed worry over the silence from the members of the GFA Executive Council amid the recent struggles of Ghana Football.

There has been a lot of backlash from Ghanaians in recent times concerning the state of Ghana Football on the back of the poor performance of the Black Stars.

Sannie Daara believes good communication from the top hierarchy of the GFA can help assuage the tension over the state of the Black stars and football in Ghana.

Speaking in an interview with Benjamin Yamoah and Monica Bukari on GHOne TV, Sannie Daara questioned the silence of key members of the executive council, arguing that those responsible for managing the national football teams should be more vocal, especially during challenging times.

“I expect and demand more from Kurt Okraku and the Executive Council. Are we not worried that in this regime, the EXCO members hardly ever speak when they are the people that manage the national football teams?” He questioned.

He called on the executives to step forward, engage with the public, and provide explanations for the team’s ongoing issues to restore confidence among Ghanaians.

“They should be at the forefront at the time that the country is going through challenges and be explaining to Ghanaians why things have gone this way and what they are doing to get things corrected”, he added.
