Western Region Council of State Member, H.E. Dr Maxwell Boakye, has donated cash and wheelchairs to persons with disabilities (PWDs) in Samreboi in the Western Region.
The donation was made on Friday, September 25, 2026, as part of an initiative aimed at supporting vulnerable members of the community and improving their mobility and welfare.
The assistance is expected to help beneficiaries meet some of their immediate needs while providing mobility support to those who require wheelchairs.
Beneficiaries expressed appreciation to Dr Boakye for the gesture, describing the assistance as timely and highlighting its potential to make a positive difference in their daily lives.
The initiative forms part of efforts to promote inclusive community development and improve the wellbeing of persons with disabilities and other vulnerable groups in the Western Region.
