An aspirant for the National Youth Organiser position of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC), Okai Mintah, has pledged to strengthen and adequately resource the party’s mobilisation structures ahead of the 2028 general elections.
Mr Mintah said his campaign would focus on building a stronger and more effective campaign machinery by improving the structures deployed by the party during the 2024 general elections.
In a Facebook post, he said he was committed to leading the party’s mobilisation efforts and ensuring that its campaign structures were adequately resourced ahead of the next election.
“I am committed to leading our mobilization efforts to ensure our campaign machinery is unmatched. We will upgrade and better fund the same machinery used in 2024 to secure our victory in 2028,” he said.
Mr Mintah’s pledge forms part of his campaign to become the NDC’s National Youth Organiser, with mobilisation and campaign organisation featuring prominently among his priorities.
He said strengthening the party’s existing mobilisation machinery would be central to efforts to prepare the NDC for the 2028 general elections.
