A vibrant supporters’ wing of Asante Kotoko, Kum Apem WhatsApp Group, has donated ten buckets of paint to the Ashanti Regional Directorate of the National Sports Authority (NSA) on Tuesday, September 2, 2025.

The presentation took place at the Baba Yara Stadium, the home ground of the Porcupine Warriors.

According to the group, the donation forms part of their contribution towards ongoing efforts to improve the stadium’s outlook and support the National Sports Authority in maintaining the facility.

Officials of the NSA Regional Directorate, led by Regional Director Nana Gyaama Darkwah, expressed their appreciation to the fan group, describing the gesture as timely and encouraging.

They assured that the paint would be put to good use as part of ongoing efforts to keep the stadium in excellent condition ahead of the new football season.

The Kum Apem Group pledged to continue collaborating, supporting Kotoko, and contributing to the upkeep of the Baba Yara Stadium, which serves as a fortress for the club.

The 2025/26 Ghana football season kicks off on the weekend of September 12, 2025.
