The Ghana Police Service has arrested a man identified as Osei Kwame, popularly known as “Nsafufoo,” for unlawfully possessing and wearing a police uniform without authorisation.
The suspect was picked up at Antoakrom in the Manso Nkwanta District of the Ashanti Region after a viral video emerged showing him appearing intoxicated while dressed in police uniform.
In a statement posted on the Police Service’s official X (formerly Twitter) account on Thursday, July 3, 2025, the police confirmed the arrest and indicated that the suspect is currently in custody assisting with investigations.
The police have assured the public that the matter is being handled in accordance with the law.
