Actor Kwadwo Nkansah, also known as “LilWin,” despite the legal processes, has taken action to make amends for the family of Nana Yaw Ampomah, a 3-year-old who perished in an accident involving his car.
A close family source claims that LilWin, who has been assisting with the legal proceedings and trial at the Asokore Mampong District court, has apparently kept some of his commitments to the deceased’s family.
He bought a brand-new Hyundai Santa Fe for the father of the deceased to replace the old one which was damaged in the collision.
LilWin also gave the family GH¢50,000 and an additional GH¢45,000 to help with burial and medical costs. In addition, LilWin has promised to support the twins who are still alive as part of his restitution because Nana Yaw was the third child born after a set of twins.
LilWin’s lawyer, Nana Bonsu Kyeretwie, had earlier said that they were awaiting an Attorney General’s Office evaluation of the case and advice following the July 27, 2024 court sessions.
However, the court could not sit on August 26, 2024, and the hearing has been postponed to September.
