The Agyenim Boateng Foundation has supported students who completed and excelled in the 2025 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) and have gained admission into Senior High Schools, and other brilliant but needy students in the Pru West District in the Bono East Region.

The beneficiaries received chop boxes, mattresses, trunks, branded exercise books, and undisclosed cash donations at a brief ceremony held at the forecourt of the Agyenim Boateng Foundation Head Office in Prang.

It would be recalled that during the BECE examination period, the Foundation distributed over 1,000 mathematical sets to candidates and pledged to further support those who performed exceptionally well, as well as brilliant but needy students.

Head of the Agyenim Boateng Foundation, Obeng Agyenim Boateng said, “this initiative aligns with the Government’s efforts to promote education and support needy students. The foundation’s commitment to education is evident in its continued support for students in the district.

“Our prayer is that these items make a lasting impact in the lives of these students and inspire them to strive for excellence,” he said.

The event was graced by the District Director of Education and other officers from the Directorate.

Beneficiaries and their parents expressed profound gratitude for the gesture, describing it as the first of its kind in the district.
