A video circulating widely on social media allegedly shows British heavyweight boxer Anthony Joshua involved in a road traffic accident at Makun in Ogun State, Nigeria.
Eyewitness accounts shared online claim the incident occurred along a busy stretch of the Lagos–Ibadan Expressway shortly after 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 9, 2025.
According to the reports, a Lexus SUV, allegedly conveying Joshua and bearing registration number KRD 850 HN, collided with a stationary truck under circumstances yet to be officially determined.
Some social media users have alleged that two people died in the crash. However, these claims have not been confirmed by the police, emergency services, Anthony Joshua himself, or his management team as at the time of this report.
