Cake Fair 2017 comes off July 29

It’s the month of July and it’s only 26 days left to be part of Ghana’s first sweet experience, The Cake Fair 2017, proudly brought to you by Yellow October Events and VoiceAds – both companies have been working extra hard to make this year’s experience memorable.

The Cake Fair 2017 which is free to the public would be happening on Saturday July 29 at the Red Carpet Events Center, located next to the East Legon Police Station in Accra from 9am – 9pm.

This year the fair would be extending to a two-day experience. Beginning on July 28 the fair would be providing two Master Classes, The Baking Master Class led by Afua Nkrumah of Pink Panda Bakery andRaise Your Dough Master Class, led by Ayo Adeusi of Stesi Cakes.

The Baking Master Class is designed for beginners that have an interest in knowing how to bake cake from scratch to finish. Raise Your Dough Master Class has also been designed to teach beginners or baking entrepreneurs how to price and market their cakes. Each class is 200 GHc to participate – seats are still available but limited.

On the day of the huge exhibition, you will witness 40 cake companies that specializes in assorted cakes, cake accessories, and equipment.

Imagine walking into the event and to the left corner of your eye, you can see banana cream cakes, pineapple upside down cakes, vegan cakes,and more. To your right, you can find endless cake accessories and baking equipment, then directly in front of you, cake competitions,
demonstrations, and DJ Isaac Cool keeping the music on rotation.

The Cake Fair 2017 would also have an additional feature: ‘sugar taking shape on the runway’ demonstrated by DecoKraft, a dessert company that specializes in handmade customized chocolates. And Creamy Bakes, a cake company that specializes in baking novelty cakes,
assorted cakes and desserts: get ready for what would be your first cake fashion experience in Ghana.

There are more activities that are not listed but would be showcasing at The Cake Fair. So come with friends and family to enjoy!

This event is absolutely free to the public. Doors will open from 9am – 9pm on Saturday July 29 at the Red Carpet Events Center, located next to the East Legon Police Station in Accra.
