CHAN Black Stars depart for Burkina Faso Wednesday

Black Stars CHAN squad  will depart for Ouagadougou on Wednesday to engage the local Stallions of Burkina Faso in the first leg of the 2018 CHAN qualifiers.

The local based senior national team will face their Burkinabe counterparts at the August 5 stadium on Saturday 12th August. The game which will be played on 12th August 2017 in Ouagadougou will have Issa SY as the center man with Serigne Cheikh TOURE and Amadou Ngom as the line one and two respectively with Daouda Gueye as the 4th official.

The team will host the Stallions in the return leg on August 20th at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium. They will play a friendly encounter against Godwin Attram’s Visser Academy at the Accra Sports Stadium today. Ghana can’t afford to miss out of the CHAN Tournament in Kenya having failed to qualify for the 2015 edition in Rwanda. 18 players will be selected from the list below:
