Nigerian entrepreneur and publisher, Chief Dele Momodu has revealed plans to organize a public lecture next month aimed at ending the age-old problems of hunger and poverty in Africa.
He said poverty and lack of food were challenges affecting the African continent entirely, which needed to be addressed.
The focus this time,” he said of the lecture, “is how to end hunger and poverty in Africa. It is the biggest challenge facing Africa, whether you’re a Ghanaian or a Nigerian, it is how to rescue Africa from hunger and poverty.”
The Dele Momodu Leadership Lecture comes off on May 16, 2025.
Chief Momodu noted that he had invited former Nigerian President, Olusegun Obasanjo, to be the guest speaker for the highly billed event.
“There is nobody better positioned to do that than him,” he said of his compatriot.
He also noted that former Nigerian President, Goodluck Jonathan would grace the event and other dignitaries from across Africa.
