EIB Network in collaboration with Grace Station Foundation has donated various items to the Accra Psychiatric Hospital, residents of Old Fadama and some security officers at various checkpoints in Accra.
The donation was in response to the national call on benevolent individuals and organisations to help ease the pressure on the people during the Coronavirus Disease- 2019 (COVD-19) lockdown.
GHOne TV News Anchor, Ms. Serwaa Amihere, led the teams from the two institutions to present the items which included nose masks, sanitary items, T-shirts, bags of rice, cooking oil and other foodstuffs.
She congratulated the country’s health workers and security agencies on working round the clock to keep Ghanaians safe and healthy in the face of the devastating COVID-19 pandemic.
Receiving the donation on behalf of the Accra Psychiatric Hospital, the Public Relations Officer (PRO), Mr. Emmanuel Aboagye Appiah, thanked EIB and Grace Station Foundation for the kind gesture.
As a health worker, he used the opportunity to advise members of the public to take good care of themselves by practising social distancing, washing their hands regularly with soap under running water and also observing all the other safety measures put in place by the government and the World Health Organisation (WHO).
EIB Network is Ghana’s biggest multi-platform media organization operating many media outlets including GHOne TV, Agoo TV, Fiesta TV, Starr FM, Live FM and Kasapa FM in Accra.

Grace Station Foundation is a non-profit organisation that aims to give hope and create a sustainable future for a new generation of young Africans.
