Dataware Tech and Yadaba Communications, organisers of the acclaimed Data Analytics workshop series, have announced a new event tailored for the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) and retail sector. Scheduled for September 10-11, 2024, at the Airport View Hotel in Accra, this workshop aims to equip managers and decision-makers with the skills to leverage AI and data analytics for sustainability.

Following the successful series launch in May, the second cohort of the workshop series will start at 8:00 AM each day, providing participants with critical insights for driving innovation and sustainability in retail operations.

Nana Kojo Hagan, Team Lead for Business Intelligence at Dataware Tech, expressed enthusiasm for the upcoming event: “We are excited to bring together industry leaders and decision-makers for this pivotal workshop. Our goal is to empower participants with the knowledge and tools necessary to harness the power of AI and data analytics, driving both innovation and sustainability in their operations.”

Mabel Korkor Ocansey, PR Executive at Yadaba Communications, highlighted the event’s significance: “The AI-Driven Retail Revolution workshop represents a critical step forward for the FMCG sector. By integrating advanced data analytics and AI technology, we can help organizations achieve greater efficiency and sustainability. This event is an opportunity for professionals to gain hands-on experience and insights that will be invaluable in their strategic planning and execution.”

Testimonials

Participants at the inaugural workshop expressed their excitement at having their expectations met. Fuseini Amadu from Advans Ghana when asked about his experience at the workshop said, “It has exceeded my expectations. I was so impressed; the class was very interactive, and the instructors are very knowledgeable about what they do.”

Colbert Tagoe, from GCB Bank Ltd in an interview said, “To the organizers I would say that this is a very good program, but 2 days is not enough; if you can, make it a week so that there is more hands-on for participants.”

The previous cohort, which focused on the financial sector, featured representatives from various institutions including GT Bank, GCB Bank,  Advans Ghana, Sunu Assurance, among others.

Key Focus Areas:

  1. Unveiling AI in retail: Fundamental principles and applications within the Retail and FMCG sectors.
  2. Personalization and customer-centricity: Using AI to deliver tailored customer experiences and foster loyalty.
  3. Streamlining inventory and supply chain: Optimizing inventory management and supply chain processes.
  4. Empowering marketing and sales strategies: Utilizing AI for impactful marketing campaigns and sales growth.
  5. Action plan for implementation: Practical steps for applying workshop learnings to real-world scenarios.

Registration Details:

The workshop fee is GH¢4,000 per participant, which covers learning materials, lunch, refreshments, and a certificate of participation. An early bird discount of 10percent is available for registrations completed by August 16, 2024. Additionally, groups of four or more from the same organization can avail of a 10percent discount.
