Decathlon is a French Sports Retail Company with over forty (40) years’ experience in the design, production and retail of sports equipment and gears in over thirty (30) countries in the world.

In April 2017, Decathlon Ghana launched its first Store, which stocks Sports equipment and apparel for 40 different Sports disciplines in about a 1200m2 space at the Junction Mall, Nungua Barrier, with the main purpose of making Sports Accessible to the Many.

In order to live our purpose and reach out to more Ghanaians we opened our second Store at the Lizzy Sports Complex in East Legon in October 2017, where we continue to make Sports accessible to the many.

At Decathlon Ghana, our vision is to create a company which, through sports, will have a strong and positive impact on our Society, and we believe that; “Thanks To Decathlon Ghana, Our Users Through Sports, Will Have More Pleasure, Better Health And Better Social Integration; Thus Live Life To The Fullest”.

We are Sports Entrepreneurs driven by some Social Causes, and one of these causes is, ‘TO PRESERVE OUR PLANET AND ITS PEOPLE TO PROTECT OUR PURPOSE’.

As a Sports Company, we create sports and leisure goods that are used outside in our natural environment. This makes it our responsibility to take care of the environment in order to protect our purpose of making sports accessible to the many.

It is on this note that Decathlon worldwide earmarked the World Clean Up Day (15th September 2018) to launch the biggest civic action that the world has ever seen, by bringing together 5% of the world’s population, with one common goal of cleaning up the Planet.

As part of the events marking the ‘World Clean-Up Day’ on 15th September 2018, Decathlon Ghana is partnering with the Nungua and Teshie communities to clean up the Coco Beach, from 6:00am till 12noon. We will clean Coco Beach and practice all the Sports we love together.

Be rest assured that by helping to keep our playgrounds clean, we are contributing to ensuring that they will remain in good shape for the future generations to come.

Let us get involved and show the world that WE CARE.
