EIB Network Saturday picked up 10 awards at the eighth edition of the Radio and Television Personality Awards christened: RTP Awards.
They are; Starr Today winning Radio News Program of the Year, Starr FM, Radio Station of the Year and the Late Afternoon Show on GhOne TV grabbing the TV Entertainment Show of the Year.
The rest are; Giovani Caleb scooping the coveted award for the Radio Late Afternoon Show Host of the Year, Nana Aba Anamoah of GhOne TV picking TV Development Show Host of the Year , DJ Vyrusky, Radio DJ of the Year, and Berla Mundi, the TV Entertainment Female Host of the Year, Atiewin Mbillah Lawson, Best Radio English Newscaster of the Year, Serwaa Amihere of GhOne TV, Best Female TV Newscaster of the year and Bonahene Baffour Awuah of Kasapa FM, Best Akan Newscaster.
EIB Network’s CEO Nathan Kwabena Anokye Adisi popularly known as Bola Ray described the feat as “a great testament to the fact that Team work makes the Dream work,” in a short congratulatory message.
“Greater heights beckon, let’s hold hands and achieve higher laurels together. Kudos TEAM STARR,” he added.
The host of Restoration, a show aired on Platinum Network, Stacy Amoateng was voted the RTP Personality of the Year beating off competition from Nana Aba Anmoah of GhOne TV, Nana Yaw Sarfo of Vision 1 FM, Patrick Osei Agyeman (Countryman Songo) of Adom TV and Bernard Avle of Citi FM.
