Flag bearer hopeful of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kennedy Agyapong has stated that he will challenge President Akufo-Addo and his Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia anytime.
Speaking in a telephone call the Assin Central lawmaker questioned why his agent should be chased out the election grounds.
“There will be a showdown in the country. President Akufo-Addo I will give you a showdown, I swear to God. Vice President I will give a show down as well. Why will you chase my agent away into a room? You will hear what will happen here. I will challenge President Akufo-Addo anytime,” Kennedy Agyapong stated.
The NPP is conducting its Special Delegates Congress on Saturday August 26, 2023 across the country.
The Special Delegates Congress will be held across the country in all the 16 regions including the National Headquarters of the party.
Some 961 delegates are expected to tomorrow cast their ballot to trim down the 10 Presidential Candidate aspirants to a final 5 that would contest for the final flagbearership race on November 4, 2023.
