National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama, has made a passionate appeal to Ghanaians to endorse the NDC in the upcoming December elections to address the economic challenges caused by mismanagement.
Speaking at the party’s rally in Madina, Mahama emphasised that the time has come to reset the country from economic misappropriation.
Mahama’s speech was a call to action, urging Ghanaians to replace fear with hope, cynicism with courage, and poverty with development.
He stressed that the upcoming election is a defining moment for the nation, presenting a choice between the current state of Ghana and the Ghana that citizens aspire to have.
The former President also highlighted the importance of creating a Ghana where young people’s voices are heard and their dreams become a reality.
“The time is now, the time replace fear with hope is now. the time replace cynicism and delusionment with courage and determination is now. the time to replace poverty and insecurity with sudden development for all is now. the time to restore the economic fortunes is now. the time to reset our country is now. Saturdays election is not just another election, it is a defining moment for our nation. It’s a choice between the Ghana we have today and the Ghana we want together. A Ghana with opportunity, prosperity and justice for all. Our young people deserves to leave in Ghana where their voices are heard and their dreams become a reality. “
