Kumawu Member of Parliament, Ernest Yaw Anim, has highlighted his sustained investment in education in the constituency, with this year marking the fourth consecutive year of support for students since he became MP in 2023.
Mr Anim said his education interventions have included comprehensive support for BECE candidates, including the provision of four buses to transport candidates to all five examination centres and mathematical sets for all candidates.
The MP has also extended his support to students who have gained admission to senior high school, providing 500 boarding students with prospectus items including chop boxes, trunks, mattresses, plastic buckets, cutlery sets, bowls, exercise books and school bags. Each beneficiary also received GH¢500 towards upkeep.
Mr Anim said education remains his top priority and pledged to continue doing his best to reduce the financial burden on parents while giving children in Kumawu a fair opportunity to succeed.
