The Republic of Ghana is set to benefit a guaranteed income of GHS550million from KGL for the 2027 financial year.
The amount is expected to increase in 2028.
This amount, which is based on a 50-50 of the gross gaming income(GGI).
This is according to credible intel picked up by the Ghana News Agency(GNA) following the renegotiation of the NLA-KGL deal by the Committee set up by President John Mahama.
Although the information was quite scanty, the source said the payment of the GHS 550million based on a 50-50 of the gross gaming income(GGI) was a great deal to benefit the State through NLA and GRA.
According to the source, “this new income share model of 50-50 on the gross gaming income(GGI) is expected to be introduced across the entire lottery sector.”
