International Marketer, Bozoma Saint John says she is an excellent marketer because she always strives for excellence in whatever she does.
Speaking on Starr Today with Bola Ray, Madam Bozoma stated that people wonder how she is able to handle different jobs and succeed.
“The important thing to remember for anyone who is in any kind of field, it doesn’t matter what you do, your excellence at that work is what is important. So for me, oftentimes people will say ‘you have so many jobs in different industries.’ The Washington Post wrote an article about me two years ago saying I’ve nine jobs and six other industries. ‘How does she do it?’
“The thing is that for me it doesn’t matter if it is tech, if it is automotive, music, film I am an excellent marketer. So I can sell anything,” Bozoma stated.
She advised that excellence at work is key in every endeavor.
“So if you are an excellent writer, you should be able to write in any industry. If you are an excellent chef you should be able to make any food. If you are an excellent hairstylist you should be able to use any hair type to do your styles.
“My point is to be excellent in your chosen field and then you can float in between companies and different industries with no problem,” Bozoma stated.
