In the rescheduled District Level Elections in New Juaben South municipality, Koforidua, the atmosphere in Railways Electoral Area was electrifying as incumbent Assembly Member Daniel Ahiale clinched a decisive win, fending off attempts to end his tenure.
While a number of incumbent Assembly members lost their seats, others managed to retain their positions.
The Railways Electoral Area emerged as one of the focal points, witnessing an intense battle for the assembly seat.
Daniel Ahiale’s significant victory triggered spontaneous celebrations that reverberated throughout the night.
Supporters jubilantly paraded the streets, singing and drumming in jubilation.
Speaking to Starr FM, the victorious Assembly Member-elect, Daniel Ahiale, expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support and emphasized his commitment to serving the community.
Some of his Jubilant supporters told Starr News the Assembly Member has been rewarded for his relentless support for development and community service.
Central Market Electoral Area also one of the keenly contested areas,the incumbent assembly member William Opoku retained the seat with slim margin.
