The Jasikan Municipal Assembly, in collaboration with the Office of the Member of Parliament for the Buem Constituency, Kofi Iddie Adams, has extended support to Persons With Disabilities (PWDs) and first-year Senior High School students in the constituency.
The initiative, undertaken on Monday, June 16, 2025, forms part of efforts by the Municipal Assembly and the MP’s office to support vulnerable groups and improve access to educational resources in the Buem Constituency.
The support for PWDs was a joint initiative of the Jasikan Municipal Assembly and the MP’s office, aimed at promoting inclusivity and improving the livelihoods of vulnerable persons within the municipality.
The educational support, initiated by Kofi Adams, is intended to enhance teaching and learning while assisting needy but brilliant students in the Buem Constituency.
Although the MP, who also serves as a Minister, was unable to attend the ceremony due to other official state assignments, his commitment to the initiative was acknowledged at the event.
The Municipal Chief Executive represented both offices and reaffirmed the collaboration between the Assembly and the MP’s office in delivering development initiatives within the constituency.
Beneficiaries expressed appreciation to the MCE and the MP for what they described as their continued support.
The Jasikan Assembly and the MP’s office subsequently reaffirmed their commitment to the government’s Resetting Agenda and to working together to promote the development of Jasikan and the wider Buem Constituency.
