JUSAG directs all staff to resume work on Tuesday

The National Executive Council (NEC) of the Judicial Service Staff Association of Ghana (JUSAG), has directed all staff to report to work tomorrow, Tuesday, July 16.

This was after Organised Labour at its emergency meeting with leaders of all groups on Monday, July 15 held that, their demands have been met by SSNIT terminating the 60% sale of SSNIT hotels to Rock City Hotels.

Following that, JUSAG through its President, Mr Samuel Afotey Otu in a statement issued on Monday, July 15, and copied to Starrfm.com.gh has directed all staff to resume work tomorrow, Tuesday, July 16, 2024.

“Having had our demands met by the Board of SSNIT, Organised Labour decided to call off the ongoing strike.

“ALL workers are, therefore, directed to report to work tomorrow, Tuesday, 16th July 2024.

“Consequently, the National Executive Council (NEC) of JUSAG wishes to inform all staff of the Judicial Service to resume work tomorrow,” Mr. Afotey Otu, directs all Staff.

Mr Afotey Otu said, “Leadership of Organised Labour will engage the Board of SSNIT to resolve any other outstanding issues regarding the management of the Trust.”

“We wish to express our gratitude to the staff of the Judicial Service and the workers of Ghana for supporting our collective resolve to safeguard our retirement incomes,” he added.
