Former Students’ Representative Council (SRC) President of the Ghana School of Law, Emmanuel Kobby Amoah, has endorsed J.B. Afrifa for the presidency of the Young Lawyers’ Forum (YLF) of the Ghana Bar Association.
Mr. Amoah, who is also a lecturer at Ashesi University and a former aspirant for the YLF presidency, announced his endorsement during J.B. Afrifa’s Policy Launch and Vision Dialogue.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Amoah expressed confidence in Mr. Afrifa’s ability to lead the Forum, citing his vision, competence, and commitment to addressing the challenges confronting young legal practitioners.
According to him, Mr. Afrifa’s policy agenda, which focuses on welfare, mentorship, professional development, technological advancement, and inclusivity, reflects a practical and forward-looking approach to leadership.
“J.B. understands that the future of the legal profession will be driven by innovation, collaboration, and deliberate investment in young practitioners,” Mr. Amoah stated.
He added that Mr. Afrifa’s leadership would empower young lawyers, amplify their voices, and create opportunities for them to thrive within the legal profession.
Mr. Amoah further described Mr. Afrifa as the most suitable candidate to lead the Young Lawyers’ Forum and called on young lawyers across the country to rally behind his vision for what he described as a stronger, more innovative, and more inclusive future Bar.
The Young Lawyers’ Forum serves as a platform within the Ghana Bar Association that represents and advances the interests of young legal practitioners across the country.
