Board member for Asante Kotoko and Business magnate Dr Kofi Amoa-Abban has made a donation to some players of Asante Kotoko ahead of the celebration of Eid-Ul-Adha by Muslims around the world.
Dr Kofi Abban, CEO of Rigworld Group donated assorted food items to all players who are Muslims in the Kotoko team ahead of Friday’s Eid celebrations.
Muslims around the world will celebrate one of the major events on the Islamic calendar this Friday with a lot of merrymaking with Families coming together to celebrate and make sacrifices to Allah.
Some of the players who benefited from this gesture were Mudasiru Salifu, Ibrahim Danlad, Osman Ibrahim, Burkinabe striker Naby Keita, Kwame Baah, Ismail Ganiyu, Mohammed Habib, Ibrahim Moro, Abass Mohammed Wahab Adams and others.
After receiving the items the players expressed their appreciation with the gesture by the Kotoko board member and asked for the blessings of Allah for him.
Dr Kofi Abban, an Oil and Gas Entrepreneur was recently appointed onto the Asante Kotoko Board by Owner and Life Patron of the club Otumfuor Osei Tutu II.
