President John Dramani Mahama marked his 67th birthday on Saturday, November 29, with compassionate visits to children’s wards in Accra, bringing joy, comfort, and support to young patients and their families.
Accompanied by his wife and children, the President toured the LEKMA Hospital and Maamobi Polyclinic, where he presented gift packages and cash donations to children receiving treatment as well as their parents.
He also commended the medical staff for their dedication, offering them monetary support in appreciation of their service.
At LEKMA Hospital, President Mahama facilitated the referral of a young girl to the University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC) for specialized care.
Staff at both facilities thanked the President for choosing to spend his birthday with them and for acknowledging the efforts of healthcare workers, noting that his presence brought hope and smiles to patients and families alike.
