The National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP) has successfully concluded a high-level five-day onboarding workshop aimed at integrating management with newly recruited regional staff, fostering a unified and high-performing team.
The workshop brought together a diverse coalition of stakeholders from various sectors who shared insights, expertise and practical recommendations to ensure an inclusive and tailored approach to supporting Ghana’s evolving entrepreneurship ecosystem.
Throughout the five-day event, participants engaged in a range of informative and interactive training activities, including:
Organizational Structure: Staff gained a deeper understanding of NEIP’s hierarchical framework, roles, and responsibilities.
Staff Salary and Remuneration: Attendees were briefed on the organization’s compensation packages, benefits, and incentives.
NEIP Programs: Participants explored NEIP’s flagship initiatives, including entrepreneurship training, funding opportunities, and innovation support.
Team Bonding: Team-building exercises encouraged collaboration, communication, and camaraderie, promoting a positive and productive work culture.
Job Specifications: Staff received detailed guidance on their job roles, expectations, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
The onboarding workshop served as a valuable opportunity for staff to align with NEIP’s mission, vision, and values while also familiarizing themselves with organizational policies and procedures. Speaking to the media at the close of the workshop, NEIP’s Corporate and Legal Director, Raymond Bidema reaffirmed the agency’s commitment to delivering a world-class entrepreneurship training programme.
