Dr. Palgrave Boakye Danquah, a member of Kennedy Agyapong’s campaign team, has underscored the importance of transparent conduct and public accountability in the lead-up to the NPP presidential primaries scheduled for January 31, 2026.
Speaking on Morning Starr with Naa Dedei Tettey on Friday, January 23, 2026, Dr. Danquah emphasized that the campaign team is mindful of how their actions are perceived both within the party and by the Ghanaian electorate.
“It is important that our behaviour, which is being observed internally, is also being observed externally by the entire Ghanaian populace and the Ghanaian electorate,” he said.
The team reiterated its commitment to a free, fair, and peaceful primary election while highlighting the broader goal of reclaiming power in the 2028 general elections.
Dr. Danquah also stressed the need to maintain the party’s image and discipline throughout the contest. “We are committed to a free, fair, transparent electoral process. We are committed to unity of the political party. We are committed to the image of our political party,” he added.
Ahead of the primaries, the campaign plans a final rally in Assin Central, focusing on engaging grassroots supporters and reinforcing confidence in the process.
