Parliament is set to resume sitting on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at the Parliament House in Accra.
This was announced by the Speaker of Parliament, Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin, in an official notice issued from his office.
According to the notice, the Second Meeting of the Second Session of the Ninth Parliament of the Fourth Republic will commence at 10:00 a.m. in line with Order 58 of the Standing Orders of Parliament.
“Pursuant to Order 58 of the Standing Orders of the Parliament of Ghana, I, Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin, Speaker of Parliament, hereby give notice that the Second Meeting of the Second Session of the Ninth Parliament of the Fourth Republic shall commence on Thursday, the 21st day of May, 2026 at ten o’clock in the forenoon at Parliament House, Accra,” the statement said.
The resumption will mark the continuation of legislative business after the recess period.
