France-based Afrobeats artistes Passi and Orti have been billed to perform at the maiden ‘Paris in Ghana’ concert slated for Friday, November 5, 2021, at the Alliance Française, Accra.

Ghanaian Award-winning sensations and music icons, Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Becca, Kwabena Kwabena, Gasmilla and Fameye are billed to complete the artists’ lineup.

‘Paris in Accra’ spearheaded by the French Embassy to Ghana and Empire protocol, is organized to tighten the bilateral relationship between France and Ghana through music.

Speaking about the concert with Bola Ray on Instagram live, the French Ambassador to Ghana, HE Anne Sophie Avé said,  ” This is the very first time that we have French and Ghanaian superstars together on stage to present not only their tracks and the ones you know, and love, but also some exclusive duos that they have gone to record during the summer in France or across the ocean.”

She added that “it’s going to be just incredible. Some of the tracks that you’ll discover, no one has ever heard. I feel I’ve been lucky to listen to some of them. And I have got my favourite. But there are some I haven’t heard.  I would love to hear  Sarkodie’s song with Passi and Orti and other collaborations. I can imagine that whatever they did together must be a super hit.”

Orti doubles as a songwriter and an Afrobeats lover, his yet to be released 12 track album dubbed ‘OGA’ was produced by Passi Balende known as Passi, a French rapper and producer, one of the first generation hip hop artists in France.

Passi has been a member of the group Ministère Amer, voicing the harshest critical opinion on French politics and social problems.
