The Bono Regional Police Command has interdicted some police officers captured in a viral social media video allegedly receiving money from motorists.
The move follows the circulation of a social media video in which the officers are seen allegedly accepting bribes while on duty.
In a press release issued on Tuesday, October 29, 2025, the Police said the officers involved have been identified and temporarily relieved of their duties to pave the way for a thorough and impartial investigation.

The Command assured the public of its commitment to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and accountability within the Ghana Police Service.
It further reaffirmed that disciplinary action will be taken in accordance with police regulations upon the conclusion of the investigations.
