Preachers’ Obed Psych teams up with Ayanna Gregory on ‘Rely on you’

In a world often filled with turmoil and challenges, the power of music to heal and uplift is undeniable. A new song, “Rely on you” has emerged as a beacon of hope, delivering a message of faith, love, and resilience. Penned by Obed Psych, the leader of the award-winning Ghanaian urban gospel group, Preachers, who is currently trailblazing a musical path in Canada.

‘Rely on You’ is poised to become a timeless anthem that transcends boundaries and touches souls. The song is not only a testament to the power of friendship, trust, and mutual support, but also a cultural bridge, putting Ghana on the global map as he deftly raps in his native language, Kusaal.

The song’s soulful chorus is delivered in English by the US-based singer, dramatist, and activist, Ayanna Gregory creating a harmonious fusion of cultures.

“The song is also a reminder that in a world filled with superficial connections, there still exists a kind of friendship that stands the test of time. A song for anyone who has ever had a friend that feels like family, it’s not just a piece of music but a tribute to the beautiful complexity of true friendship” Obed shared.

The melody of “Rely on You” effortlessly weaves together a tapestry of emotions, evoking a sense of serenity and reverence. The two’s harmonious voices blend seamlessly, creating an ethereal atmosphere that invites listeners to join in.

Obed Psych is one of the three renowned urban gospel group members. The group has won awards and performed on massive stages. Obed has singularly released over 6 singles namely ‘Ti Ku Len Kpi’, ‘Odin’ ‘Number One, ‘Tun Bu Toara’.

His new song ‘Rely on You’ is available on all music streaming platforms.
