Process and Plant Automation Limited (PPA), an electrical engineering solutions provider with expertise in industrial and building automation, has been certified according to the ISO 9001:2015 standard for quality management systems by the Ghana Standards Authority as of May,2021.
ISO 9001 is the internationally recognized standard for quality management systems (QMS), which enables companies to operate more efficiently, and focus on customer satisfaction, while meeting requirements of all other relevant stakeholders. An ISO 9001 certified company is one which has demonstrated commitment to providing the highest quality of goods and services, while operating more efficiently.
Speaking at the handing-over event, the CEO of the company, Ing Kweku Asmah said, “We are proud of our achievement as a wholly Ghanaian owned firm, and we are equally excited about this certification because being ISO 9001 :2015 certified is one sure way of demonstrating to our clients the value we place on them, and our commitment to meeting and exceeding their needs. I am certain our new status will provide additional assurance to our customers, that we are focused on continuous improvement, effective project delivery and customer satisfaction.”. He also noted that the company is not only excited about being certified, but also because of the lessons learnt from the entire certification journey, and the improvement it has brought to the operations and outputs of the firm.
Ing. Asmah also noted that, being certified to an international standard will propel the company into achieving its vision of becoming West Africa’s choice for smart solutions. He urged all stakeholders to continue to trust the company, as it pledges to continue to uphold its commitments to meeting all stakeholder needs and expectations.
The preparation towards ISO 9001 Certification has taken about 3 years, and places PPA on a firm footing as the company looks to roll-out more customer focused products and Solutions in the coming months.
Process and Plant Automation Ltd is also pursuing ISO 45001:2018 (Organizational Health and Safety Management Systems) certification. “This will be a demonstration of our commitment to ensuring the health and safety of all stakeholders.” According to the CEO of the company.
