The Prime Minister of Saint Kitts and Nevis, Terrance Michael Drew, is set to embark on an official visit to Ghana from March 3 to March 7, 2026.
According to a statement issued on March 3, 2026 and signed by Felix Kwakye Ofosu, Spokesperson to the President and Minister for Government Communications, “The Prime Minister of Saint Kitts and Nevis, The Honourable Dr Terrance Michael Drew, will undertake an official visit to Ghana from Tuesday, March 3, 2026, to Saturday, March 7, 2026.”
During his stay, Dr. Drew will participate in Ghana’s 69th Independence Day celebration on Friday, March 6.
The statement noted that “Prime Minister Drew and his delegation will start the official schedule on Wednesday with a meeting with the Vice Chancellor of the University of Ghana.
He will later be hosted at the Presidency for bilateral discussions and an official luncheon.”
As part of his itinerary, Dr. Drew will tour key historical and cultural landmarks, including the W. E. B. Du Bois Memorial Centre for Pan-African Culture, the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park, and the Cape Coast Castle.
He is also expected to pay a courtesy call on Osabarimba Kwesi Atta II, Omanhene of the Oguaa Traditional Area.
The visit underscores growing cooperation between the two countries.
The statement highlighted that “Ghana and Saint Kitts and Nevis have been actively strengthening bilateral relations through South-South cooperation, with a focus on exchange programmes in education, health, trade, investment, and technology.”
