The Students Loan Trust Fund (SLTF) has announced a final extension for applications under the “No Fees Stress” policy for the 2024/2025 academic year, setting Thursday, August 7, 2025, as the new and last deadline.
This move comes after the initial deadline of July 31 passed with many students yet to complete their applications for academic fee reimbursement
In a statement dated July 31, the SLTF stressed the importance of submitting applications on time to ensure smooth processing of reimbursements for the current academic year and to prepare for the implementation of the No Academic Fee Policy in 2025/2026.
“The Students Loan Trust Fund (SLTF) wishes to inform all eligible students and stakeholders that the deadline for submitting applications for Academic Fees reimbursement for the 2024/2025 academic year under the “No Fees Stress” Policy has been extended to Thursday, August 7, 2025. This extension provides applicants with additional time to complete their submissions.”
SLTF says the extension is to give eligible students more time to access the support but warns there will be no further extensions beyond this date.
Students who have not yet applied are encouraged to complete their submissions immediately. The SLTF reaffirmed its commitment to providing timely and accessible financial assistance to Ghanaian tertiary students.
