Ghana’s Black Starlets captain Eric Ayiah could miss the team’s second group game against USA on Monday(today).
The striker is currently nursing an injury he sustained in Friday’s group opener against Colombia which Ghana won by a lone goal
Ayiah according to reports from India is unfit for the game hence must undergo a test.
Striker Richard Danso could be fielded should the 2017 CAF Promising player of the year nominee fails to recover on time for the match.
The Charity Stars forward remains one of Ghana’s key players in the competition having scored four goals at the Africa U17 Championship in Gabon.
Ghana will be heading to the round of 16 should they record a victory over USA tomorrow.
USA are top of the Group after beating host India 3-0 in their opening group match.
