The finals of the 2025 WAFU Zone B U-20 Boys Tournament will be staged at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium in Accra, according to Sheikh Toffeik Sienu, a member of the communications department of the Ghana football Association.
Speaking on GHOne TV’s “The Game” with Monica Bukari, he revealed that the third place playoff and finals have been fixed for Wednesday, July 23,,2025.
He emphasized that this move is part of efforts by WAFU to create an electrifying and fan-filled atmosphere to celebrate youth football on a grand stage.
“WAFU wants the final to be an eventful match for all to come and watch.” He stated.
Sheikh Toffeik Sienu meanwhile revealed that the GFA’s center of excellent’s pitches and facilities have earned commendations after successfully hosting another championship after successfully staging the WAFU ZONE B U-17 Girls Cup in December 2024.
Ghana continues to position itself as a hub for youth football development across the continent.
