The Member of Parliament for the Klottey Korley, Dr. Zanetor Rawlings says corrupt officials must be held accountable even as the nation undergoes the resetting agenda.
Speaking at the 43rd commemoration of the 31st December revolution on the theme “Victory 2024: Time to Reset Ghana”, the Klottey Korley lawmaker also charged party members to uphold the democratic principles of the NDC.
She further stated those who uphold integrity must be celebrated and those who abuse power for the parochial interest must also be brought to book.
“We need to make sure that we have leadership with integrity from the top to the base. We must hold one another accountable. We must make that we reinstitute consequent management, which means if we do so properly, this psyche of impunity will finally be put to rest.
“People must be held accountable for what they do. Those who do the right thing must be recognized for doing the right”, madam Zanetor stated.
She continued: “It is time we celebrate our heroes for doing the right thing and shaming those who used their positions to destroy and use their incumbency to amass worth at the expense of the people of this country. The resources of this country are not meant for one family, one ethnic group, and definitely not one party”.
